Art for ALL!
We offer our ongoing Family stARTs program but have also been partnering with St. Angela School in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago for three years. With generous sponsorship from the Mammel Family Foundation, OPAL is able to facilitate a visiting art instructor to provide art classes and activities to 190 underserved elementary and high school youth per week.
Internships & Volunteering
The Oak Park Art League offers volunteer opportunities for high schoolers as well as college internships for students interested in arts administration and course credit.
The OPAL staff works to create projects to fit the interests of youth interns so they can gain valuable experience and help make a contribution to our organization.
