Intermediate—Advanced Drawing ***NEW
This course is for the student who has some experience with drawing’s fundamentals and is interested in exploring drawing as a means of personal communication and expression.
All elements of drawing will be looked at: subject matter, media and techniques, and conceptual frameworks such as representation, narration, and abstraction. A student might use this time to explore the potential of still life, or self-portraiture, or interior space, or non-objective (completely abstract) work, as examples.
Projects which may serve as intriguing springboards for investigation will be introduced while students already possessing a personal sense of direction will be encouraged in their goals.
Critiques and discussions will be held to encourage constructive feedback from both the class members and the instructor.
This class can be repeated.
