Using the medium of soft pastel to achieve an understanding of the philosophy of nature as a whole and integral entity of ourselves. Required Materials List:
Bring any soft pastels you have on hand. If you are purchasing pastels for the first time, look for a small set of 12 NuPastels and a larger set of pastels, such as Blick Pastels.
A few sheets of sanded pastel paper such as these and a variety pack of Canson pastel papers, in 9” x 12” size.
Bring photos or reference material from which you would like to work.
If you have other pastel materials, please bring them along.
