Learn fundamental drawing techniques and expand existing skills in a variety of media to discover individual drawing style.

Using the Masters of Abstract Expressionist, Minimalist, Action Painting and other modern art movements painting techniques, the artist will develop an understanding of the principles of Abstract Art.
These basic principles will assist the artist to create their own abstract voice. Each artist is encouraged to work in the medium they are most comfortable in.
Each class will also feature a bit of art history about different art movements and where they fit in the overall history of art.
For all painting levels beginner to advanced or first time holding a brush.

MATERIAL LIST
Paints (Your choice of medium): Red, Yellow, Blue, White (other colors optional)
Paint Brushes at least three of various sizes
Painting surfaces: Bristol Board (Thick Paper), Canvas stretched over wood approximately 12” x 16” (1 or more)
Rags/paper towels, medium container.
