It’s the giving season! Thank you for being an important part of the Oak Park Art League.
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you and local organizations as we continue to offer and expand our exhibition and art education programming. Together, we are continuing a century-long tradition, creating a community that welcomes and acknowledges the diversity of voices and interests in making and appreciating visual art.
What makes OPAL a gem in the community are the people who champion art and creative expression and contribute their time, talent and money to support our beloved organization

Your contribution to OPAL allows us to meet short-and-long term goals while we continue our mission of providing dynamic programming that engages the beginner to professional artist, allowing for personal growth and artistic refinement.
What we did this year at OPAL
Restarted weekly figure drawing sessions on Sundays and Thursdays
Started collab with Angelica Kauffman Gallery to host Micro art exhibits in our new Niche Gallery
Artist Residency program launched with dedicated space and booked for 2025
Offered youth art outreach program for underserved kids outside of Oak Park for the third year in a row.
Continued to offer Family stARTs, free children's artmaking experiences on 2nd and 4th Saturdays
Started renovation on our grounds historic E.E Roberts building with a new fence and roof
Updated building security with keypad entry and video surveillance
Increased visibility in the community at Chamber events, Day in our Village, Fourth of July parade
Produced exhibits focused on inclusion and celebrating diversity with We See You and Queering the Gallery
