This series of paintings is inspired by the sketches I made during the first year of my daughter’s life when our bodies were constantly connected. I would draw the things I saw around me while she nursed and contact napped. My view consisted of baby flesh, receiving blankets and bits of my changed body. My world felt small yet all consuming.
