Unveiling the new mini gallery in OPAL

How could we fit more art in the gallery? You’re invited to come see! The Angelica Kauffman Gallery is filling a niche with a new mini gallery inside the Carriage House Gallery at the Oak Park Art League - literally, as an architectural niche has been turned into a micro gallery!

OPAL, in collaboration with @angelicakauffmangallery, has found spot for a whole new art space and more exhibition opportunities.

Come see the miniature artwork in person at the inaugural show, “The Artist Has the Power to Do That,” featuring miniature quilts (and more) made from upcycled materials. The title and theme were inspired by a quote from Betye Saar.

Show runs until March 8, 2024

Visit the Oak Park Art League in Oak Park, IL, at the artist reception or during regular open hours to see AKG mini gallery.
