Ready to make some portable art ?
Join us Sunday, March 15 between 10am and noon as we create our own individual pocket sculpture. What are pocket sculptures? Stop by the Art League and find out.
We’ll take a large postcard sized piece of heavy paper, add designs and then cut it into four parts that can be stacked up to create a sculpture, which when disassembled is the size of a match book.
The best part is that it can easily be slipped into your pocket until the next time you have the urge to put it up.
We will gather in the Gallery space where you can be inspired view the new exhibition "Abandoned Spaces" .
This program is free. However, donations are appreciated.
Projects are geared towards children ages 5 and up. All children must be accompanied by adult.
Registration is not required. Stop by our Carriage House Gallery anytime between 10am-noon for this project. See you then !
