Blogging Your Way to a Successful Art Business

Thursday, May 13th

7-8:30pm

Many artists are feeling the pain of canceled exhibitions, festivals, and other opportunities due to Covid-19. Now, it's more important than ever to have a web presence. Opportunities still exist, but the key is to make sure you prepare and position yourself to take advantage of them.

It can be daunting to create and maintain a website, let alone consistently share a consistent message with the world. Frustrated by technology, short on time, or overwhelmed at all of their options, many artists get stuck before they start.

Learn how to overcome these challenges with an effective three-part marketing system.

Learn how to consistently share work with an audience across various marketing channels such as social media and email marketing using an easy-to-use blogging platform as the driver for your business.

Becky Sciullo, of Artisan Advantage, uses her personal experience and real-life examples to outline a system any visual artist can use. The information is relevant for artists currently using many popular web platforms such as WordPress, Weebly, Squarespace, and Faso - or artists who do not yet have a website.

Build a manageable system that works.

You will gain a new enthusiasm for building a web presence, whether you are starting from scratch or improving upon an existing website. This presentation offers tools and advice for creating and maintaining this system in a manageable way.
