With a wide range of digital camera types available, what’s the best kind for me? And how can I take command of all those mysterious functions?

In this workshop, you will learn about the different kinds of digital cameras, basic and some more advanced functions, some lighting principles, plus tips on how to approach a variety of subjects, from portraiture and events to macro and landscape.

We’ll also cover basic image processing (straightening, cropping, color and tonal adjustment, using both Adobe Photoshop™ and GIMP™ freeware, with hand-outs.
