Tuesdays, 6:30 PM- 9:00 PM
Instructor: Jackie Lakely
Capacity: 10 students
An accordion sketchbook is a wonderful vehicle for exploring one theme, subject, or series, and a fun way to let the pages unfold and tell one continuous story.
In this day-long workshop Jackie will guide you through preparing pages with mixed media tools and techniques, creating unique atmospheres for sketching.
While pages are drying Jackie will give a demo and lesson on mark-making, composition, and sketching confidently and loosely. Throughout the day we will sketch groupings of pages from life and also from photos and our imaginations.
You will leave with a book full of ideas and techniques for you to choose from for future sketching and mixed media artwork. All levels of students are welcome, and some drawing experience is helpful.
Class will take a short 1/2hour lunch break, so please bring a sack lunch.
