Julie Brundage

STATEMENT

Everyday, the media thrusts the famous and the infamous upon us. I feel there is more value in seeing those who pass before us and realize the beauty, purpose, effort and dignity that they carry as they live their daily lives. They imprint themselves on us and my art is an attempt to record that dignity and purpose, whether in a figure, a city that they built or even in abstract form.
