BIO
Phyllis Frick grew up in Oak Park and enjoyed experimenting with many types of art as a child. Circumstances led Frick to careers outside of the world of art. Recently retired, Frick has been able to return to her lifelong passion. She completed a Certificate in Drawing at the School of the Art Institute in 2023, has been facilitating figure drawing sessions at the Oak Park Art League since 2020, teaches art to children and has exhibited her work at the Oak Park Art League, SFA Gallery in Oak Park, Randall’s Pub in Chicago. She recently had her first solo show Green Line to Harlem at the Oak Park Public Library.
