STATEMENT
Currently, my work reflects my exploration of the art of collage. The process satisfies my desire for playing with the tactile qualities of paper and paint along with alternative ways of using and transferring images. I love fabric assemblage and this piecing together of paper images refers to that.

BIO
I received my BFA in Painting and Art Education from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA . I then taught K-12 art for 28 years and retired from Chicago Public Schools in 2016. I was also a member of Surface Deep Studio for 13 years on Harrison Street in Oak Park.
