FEBRUARY - FIGURES & FACES

For all artists who utilize the human figure and/or the human face as the dominant content of your artwork, this is an Open Call exhibition for you. There is no limit to what is revealed about ourselves, as much as what is observed of the subject, when working from the figure, and in portraiture. We are always interpreting and recording ourselves, as the artist, when attempting to reveal and record our subject. This is the never-ending narrative of figures and faces. Show yourself and your subject in this exhibition and add your voice.

● This is an Open Call.

● The artwork you submit will be included if it meets the Call criteria.

● Deliver your work on the drop-off dates below. All media/mediums accepted (except for video for this exhibition).

● ARTWORK IS LIMITED IN SIZE TO (42”) IN THE LARGEST DIMENSION (including frame).

● Sculpture work (freestanding) can be up to 72” high but must be no more than 36” wide in the round.

● Limit TWO submissions per artist.

● All work MUST be ready to hang!!! (ABSOLUTELY NO SAWTOOTH OR STRING HANGERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!)

Important dates:

Drop-off work: JAN 28 (1-4pm), 30 (1-5pm), 31 (1-5pm)

Exhibition dates: FEB 9 - MAR 2

Opening reception: FEB 10, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Pick up work: MAR 3 (1-5pm), 4 (1-4pm), 6 (1-5pm), 7 (1-5pm)

Submission fee:

Art Supporter - * 1st work @ $35 * 2nd work @ $20

Art Friend (not a member or supporter) - * 1st work @ $35 * 2nd work @ $20
