The Oak Park Art League offers Family stARTs, a free drop in youth art making opportunity twice a month for families to create together. We invite a variety of guest artists to bring different techniques and ideas to theses sessions. In addition to this we wanted to offer the guest artists some assistance and area teens with an interest in art, education and working with kids a paid leadership opportunity.

Through a generous grant from the David E. Weaver Memorial Fund, administered by Emmanuel Episcopal Church of La Grange, IL, OPAL will select qualified teens who apply for this assistant opportunity to help guest artists and earn $50./2 hour session. This is not only a great
paid experience opportunity but can help teens learn in a
new environment and make connections.
