De-Mystifying your Digital Camera
February 25, 2017 - 9:00 - Noon
Digital cameras come in many forms: Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras (DSLRs), mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras(MILCs), point-and-shoot compact cameras, and even smart (and not-so-smart) phones! While they’re tremendously versatile, they can also be dauntingly complex in their operations. This single half-day workshop will help demystify your camera by working through your camera’s most important features and helping you choose your settings with confidence. We’ll briefly discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each type of camera, just in case you’re considering upgrading, but most of our focus will be on the camera settings themselves, what they mean, why they’re important, and how to find and adjust them. Bring your camera and your manual if you have one.
